First successful Indus River dolphin rescue of 2019! WWF-Pakistan and Sindh Wildlife Department jointly rescued a female Indus RIver dolphin from Dadu canal, district Larkana. The dolphin was translocated in a sound proof ambulance and released in the Indus River, Sukkur Barrage downstream, near Khairpur Larkana bridge. The recent rescues of these dolphins is a hopeful sign for the remaining 1,987 of these endangered mammals in Pakistan. | WWF-Pakistan
