Remembering the excitable boy Warren Zevon who left us 21 years ago today. Best known for his 70s classic about werewolves of London running amok in Kent, he also wrote prolifically for other artists, including 'Poor Poor Pitiful Me' which was a big hit for the lovely Linda Ronstadt. In 2002 he was diagnosed with pleural mesothelioma. He died aged just 56, but lived long enough to see the birth of his twin grandsons. The music world is poorer for his passing.
