Here’s a good story about how a toxic superfund site was cleaned up and restored to a valuable place for wildlife. It’s also a good example of how important environmental non-profit organizations. In my area, they’re the key players in natural land preservation and ecological restoration, which is not only extremely necessary, but extremely important for fighting the biodiversity and climate crises.
