Over the last month we've spent a few weeks in Puget Sound on a collaborative project with the Center for Whale Research. The primary goal of this project is to pair localized hydrophone recordings of Southern Resident orca vocalizations with drone observations of their behavior. Additionally, we also had the opportunity to spend some time in the field observing Bigg's killer whales.
