If you want to really stand out, find the recruiter for the role on LinkedIn (I have a YouTube tutorial on this!) send them a super brief, to-the-point, and hyper-polite message. Here’s an example: “Hi, Greg!My name is Erin McGoff and I just applied for the Video Editor position at National Geographic.I wanted to reach out to connect and put a face to an application. 3 reasons I believe I’d be a great fit for thi
