FINALLY - Part 2 of Charity shop finds I spotted this Poncho in a charity shop and knew instantly and wanted to turn it into a jacket. Whilst cutting I knew I only had enough for sleeves or a hood and pockets, I went with hood and pockets and used green jersey left over from a previous project. Found some scrap black ribbing to add a cuff. Added a zip and wallah! Anyone could do this, simple pattern and stitched the whole jacket using an over lockers and it didn’t need lining. I have a new jacke

An upcycling project 💚 I bought a handbag from a charity shop and I deconstructed it. I used the body fabric and the handles for this project and I’ve kept everything else ready to use for future projects. I teamed the leatherette from the handbag up with some of the denim squares that I’ve got left from my previous patchwork projects. The squares are all 10 x 10 cm.
