This week is National Volunteer Week! At UNC Health Care Volunteer Services, this year has given us incredible numbers to be proud of: 97,901 hours volunteered from 2,080 volunteers including 1,098 undergraduates and 189 juniors and 35 Tar Heal Paws Pet Teams. Together they made over 1304 visits, serving 58 units at the UNC Medical Center with 125 hospice volunteers and an additional 198 volunteer placements.
