Brigitte Bardot, the legendary French actress-turned-animal rights activist, has passed away at age 91. She died on Sunday at her home in southern France, announced The Brigitte Bardot Foundation. Brigitte became an international star with her performance in the 1965's ‘And God Created Woman.’ At age 39, she left acting behind to devote her life to the welfare of animals.
