Eddie Redmayne began singing 'The Wheels on the Bus' during his acceptance speech for Best Actor for The Theory of Everything at the 87th Academy Awards in 2015. He was thanking his infant daughter and spontaneously performed the children's song. Redmayne portrayed Stephen Hawking, who attended the ceremony. The performance required extensive physical preparation to portray Hawking's motor neuron disease. Redmayne received a second consecutive nomination the following year for The Danish Girl. #
