We are happy to report that our resident great horned owl, Grumpy, has become a foster parent. Her first foster owl is a juvenile owl who sadly lost their siblings and nest when the tree they resided in fell. Upon admittance the juvenile was assessed and stabilized by our rehabilitation team. Once stronger, it was carefully introduced to Grumpy.We’re pleased to see that Grumpy has accepted the juvenile and her natural protective instincts automatically kicked in!
