There is no doubt that handraised macaws have advanced cognitive and motor skills at fledging stage. Nest babies leave the nest here and often don’t attempt flight for another 5-7 days after, they stick close to the nest on nearest perch. These guys have had ‘early learning’ and have the confidence to attempt anything new or ‘different’ they encounter… as long as they were raised correctly and introduced to anything new at an appropriate age. Some may be termed.. ‘over confident’ 🤣🤣😬🥳😇👌❤️�
