When drawing younger animals it's important to notice the difference in fur length compared to the adults. This Lion cub had a little more softer and longer fur on the legs so it's important here to adjust the pencil technique accordingly. For this project I started with a PanPastel base layer and then gradually built my pencil layers on top.
