Camp Mystic says that it has informed the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS) that it is withdrawing its application for the license, meaning the camp will not be reopening this summer. It comes in the wake of a number of investigations, including a legislative investigation this week, as well as five lawsuits from families who lost girls in the deadly flash flooding over the Fourth of July last year.
