This is such exciting progress, we had to share it! Our keepers have been working with all our giraffes to train them for foot care, and Wyatt let the team curl his foot and trim the bottom this week! Hoof care is a very important part of giraffe care. Because they’re big animals that are on their feet a LOT (and giraffe feet are surprisingly delicate), we have to make sure their feet are healthy.
