Ukraine launched drone attacks across several regions of Russia, striking two residential houses in the Tambov region and injuring several people, Russia said on Saturday.

Russian-based Fly Drones has been deploying an anti-drone laser system—which could be employed to automatically detect, track, identify, and engage the airborne platforms.

Regional Governor Roman Busargin stated that the “fuel combustion process continues” and is expected to last for another two days. He added that a change in wind direction has shifted the smoke away from the city.

The industrial area in Gatchina, located in the Leningrad region, is currently on fire. The industrial plants there were targeted by Ukrainian drones early this morning. This target is situated over 620 miles from the front line.

A fire at a fuel storage facility near a strategic bomber airbase in the Russian city of Engels is still ongoing. Residents may experience "discomfort," citing the governor of the Saratov region, Roman Busargin.

The area of the fire has been reduced by 80%, and the amount of smoke has reportedly decreased, said the governor. However, the combustion of fuel continues.
