Perplexity is launching a new content subscription called Comet Plus that gives subscribers access to premium articles and shares 80 percent of the revenue with publishers.

AI models need access to high-quality information to improve and continue being a one-stop shop for information. Publications are now inking licensing deals with AI companies to sell this content.
