July 5 (UPI) -- Brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher reunited their band Oasis in Cardiff, Wales, Friday night. The Gallaghers ended their 16-year hiatus, performing songs like "Hello," "Acquiesce," "Some Might Say," "Morning Glory" and "Wonderwall," in front of 75,000 fans at the Cardiff Principality Stadium, according to TMZ.

Oasis proved they're back for real on Friday at their first concert in 16 years, with a powerful new lineup and a career-spanning setlist.

The band's much-anticipated reunion tour began to a crowd of about 74,500 at Cardiff's Principality Stadium on Friday night. They delighted fans, who revelled all day and long into the night, with classics from their back catalogue, as well as paying a touching tribute to the late Liverpool player Diogo Jota during the performance of Live Forever.
