According to a federal criminal complaint, prosecutors say Juwon Madlock “utilized open-source databases and law enforcement databases to find addresses” to help a gang member track down gang members.

The officer, Juwon J. Madlock, resigned this week. In 2021, he was put on the county's "Brady list" of officers with credibily concerns.

According to the criminal complaint, the District 6 officer used a police database to provide information to a convicted felon, helping the felon conceal the true identity of stolen vehicles and admitted to offering to sell guns to the felon.
