Ukrainian officials say Russia is using drones to target civilians in Kherson. Some Russian soldiers appear to be bragging about the deadly attacks on social media.

These attacks have killed seven people and injured 55, said Oleksandr Prokudin, Kherson's regional military government head, in a Telegram post.

"At approximately 09:00, Russians attacked Kherson with a UAV," the statement said. It is noted that as a result of an explosive device being dropped from the drone, a 44-year-old woman and three men aged 52, 53, and 56 were injured. Preliminary information suggests they sustained blast injuries.

Russia appears to be using drone attacks on civilians to train young pilots, says a Ukrainian lawmaker with ties to Ukraine's military. One city has been hit by hundreds of drone strikes this year.
