After winning seven in a row (including the NBA Cup final, which doesn’t count in the standings), the Knicks have now dropped two of their last three as they fell 115-104 Tuesday night at the Target Center.
The New York Knicks head coach had to hand it to the former Knicks forward after this road loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Julius Randle, who had a tough first three quarters, turned it on when it mattered most in the fourth. After starting the game 3-for-11 from the floor, Randle went 7-for-9 in the fourth and finished the game with 25 points in a Wolves’ 115-104 victory Tuesday, Dec. 23.

“I’m over it,” Julius Randle said. “I had a great time in New York, accomplished a lot of great things. The city was great to me, but I’m happy to be here in Minnesota, playing in front of the fans every day, being a part of this team. “I’m home. Where I’m at is home. So I think I’ve kind of got past that, and I’m just happy where I am now.”
