Goldman Sachs said Nvidia has another trick up its sleeve to drive its stock price higher going forward: a massive stock buyback program.

Target's (TGT) stock has plunged over 20% since its lackluster Q3 report while Nvidia shares have been surprisingly flat despite topping estimates and posting another quarterly record for revenue.

Nvidia shares slipped lower in early Thursday trading after the world's biggest company posted another impressive set of quarterly earnings figures, tied to what it called "staggering" demand for its AI-powering chips,

"Nvidia’s earnings on Wednesday will be the grand finale of the earnings announcement season," said Louis Navellier, chairman and founder of Navellier & Associates. "Starting in the fourth quarter, Nvidia’s new Blackwell GB200 GPU will dominate its sales for the next couple of years."

Heading into Nvidia's critical report next week, Wall Street remains decidedly bullish. Analysts' consensus estimates are calling for revenue of $33 billion -- or growth of about 82%. Nvidia has a strong track record of beating its own expectations and that of Wall Street, so the results could be more robust.
