The Los Angeles Rams and Matthew Stafford have a timeline in place for the veteran quarterback's return to the field as he deals with back soreness, but don't expect the team to make it public anytime soon.

ESPN's Peter Schrager shared his intel on the issue during a recent episode of The Pat McAfee Show. The NFL insider revealed that the Rams aren't worried that Stafford could miss Week 1 and that the team is just being cautious with their veteran starting quarterback.
