Manchester United have made a decision over the future of manager Ruben Amorim in the event the club lose the Europa League final and miss out on Champions League qualification.

Ruben Amorim has paid for friends and family of his Manchester United backroom team to attend the Europa League final in Bilbao. As part of continuing cost-cutting measures, United have informed staff that they will not be offered complimentary tickets for next week’s final against Tottenham Hotspur.

Amorim has endured a mixed time at Old Trafford since arriving from Sporting CP and replacing Erik ten Hag in November. The Portuguese has won just six and drawn six of his 25 league matches in charge - a run that has seen them drop down to 16th in the table, one point ahead of Tottenham in 17th.
