On Thursday night, the Los Angeles Lakers lost to the Golden State Warriors (at home) by a score of 123-116. LeBron James finished the loss with 33 points, five rebounds, nine assists, one steal and one block while shooting 10/15 from the field and 5/8 from the three-point range in 40 minutes of playing time.

The Golden State Warriors got one over on LeBron James both statistically and psychologically in the Dubs’ 123-116 win over the Lakers on Thursday. Not only did the victory inch them closer to a higher seed in the Western Conference standings — and remind the rest of the league just how dangerous Golden State can be when everyone’s clicking — it also just seemed to annoy the hell out of the 40-year-old basketball star.

The Golden State Warriors are 20-5 since acquiring Jimmy Butler at the trade deadline. They're 20-4 with him in the rotation. Butler has elevated Steve Kerr's team back to the level of contending for a championship.
