John Metchie projects as a WR3/WR4 rotational piece in Philadelphia. He is best deployed as a slot/Z receiver who can get open vs zone coverage, provide a quarterback with a reliable target, and offer a safety valve on scramble drills.

That’s not the only relationship Metchie has in the Eagles’ locker room. He also knows Jahan Dotson pretty well. While they weren’t ever actually teammates in high school, Dotson hosted Metchie on his visit to The Peddie School in Hightstown, New Jersey.
