A few soft goals, a continued scoring slump from key players, and a lack of sharpness in critical moments allowed the Senators to walk away with a 5-2 win.

The Flyers lost 5-2 to the visiting Ottawa Senators, extending their losing streak to five games. Brady Tkachuk gave the Senators a 1-0 lead in the first period. The Flyers broke out of their end but Travis Sanheim’s pass to Bobby Brink was a little too far ahead and the Senators transitioned right back.

Brady Tkachuk scored 24 seconds into the game, Michael Amadio scored the go-ahead goal and the Ottawa Senators beat the Philadelphia Flyers 5-2.
