GE Globo report that Davide Ancelotti is set to become the new Botafogo head coach. This has since been confirmed by The Athletic and Fabrizio Romano, with the 35-year-old set for his first coaching

The appointment comes one month after he joined his father Carlo’s coaching staff at the Brazil men’s international side.

Carlo Ancelotti recently parted ways with Real Madrid with the Italian manager taking charge of Brazil's national team. His son, Davide Ancelotti, has worked as his father's assistant since the legendary manager's stint at PSG.
