Israel has halted all food, fuel, and medicine to Gaza and vowed "additional consequences" if Hamas did not embrace the new proposal.

Israel will stop the entry of all humanitarian aid into Gaza to pressure Palestinian militant group Hamas into accepting a temporary extension of the ceasefire agreement, officials said on Sunday, a day after the initial phase of the truce expired.

Hundreds of aid trucks have entered Gaza daily since the ceasefire began on Jan. 19​, and it was unclear what the immediate impact of the aid cutoff would be.
