IOWA CITY, Iowa (KWQC) - A 99-year-old woman was hit and killed by a city firetruck in Iowa City early Saturday morning. Iowa State Patrol said at 7:13 a.m., an Iowa City firetruck was leaving a medical call at Legacy Senior Living at 1020 S Scott Blvd when it hit the woman. JONES COUNTY, Iowa (KWWL) -- Three people were hurt on Friday morning in a crash near Monticello. The crash happened around 7:15 a.m., according to Iowa State Patrol. A vehicle was traveling northbound on Highway 38 and lost control due to weather conditions, sliding into the southbound lane and striking another vehicle.
