New York Yankees slugger Giancarlo Stanton is grappling with severe tendonitis in both elbows, leading him to undergo a third round of platelet-rich plasma injections. Stanton has no idea when he can resume baseball activities and, right now, is just hoping to avoid season-ending surgery.
Set for a third round of platelet-rich plasma injections, Giancarlo Stanton said Saturday his tendon injuries are considered “severe in both elbows,” which he attributes to “bat adjustments” from last season.
