A crash involving two 18-wheelers closed I-30 at East Loop 820 for 8 hours on Tuesday. The crash was reported just after 6 a.m. in the eastbound lanes of I-30 between East Loop 820 and Cooks Lane. By 7 a.

Traffic was forced off on East Loop 820 while I-30 eastbound was completely shut down. There was at least an hour delay for drivers traveling from Fort Worth to Arlington and Dallas. As of 12 p.m. Tuesday, I-30 remained closed.

Rain chances will begin late Tuesday, Jan. 28, and increase overnight into Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service Fort Worth. Ahead of that, Tuesday will be cloudy with highs in the upper 50s to low 60s.
