The R.I. law passed just before the US Senate removed a provision from the “Big Beautiful Bill” that would have prevented states from regulating AI for 10 years.

Voters in Rhode Island Senate District 4 will head to the polls on July 8 for a special election primary. There are four Democrats running for the seat, which represents all of North Providence and part of Providence.
