As the NFL shifts into free agency, countless rumors have spread throughout social media, one of which has involved NFL legend Rob Gronkowski. Before the March 12 free agency period begins, fans on social media hinted at Gronkowski's potential return to the NFL.

But that doesn’t seem to be the case as NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport called the report “nonsense.” Gronkowski retired in 2019 after nine seasons and three Super Bowl titles with the New England Patriots. He came out of retirement and joined Tom Brady on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2020 and won his fourth Super Bowl.
