Embattled R&B singer R. Kelly was is facing new charges in Minnesota, as he continues to battle cases in Illinois and New York, prosecutors announced Monday.

Earlier this month, Kelly pleaded not guilty to nearly a dozen new counts of sex-related felonies. The new charges include four aggravated criminal sexual assault charges.

The singer remains in custody on federal sex crime charges, including child pornography, enticement of a minor and obstruction of justice.
