The state resident, who filed a formal complaint against a Connecticut State Police trooper last month, alleges she has been the victim of “harassment” after a recent arrest.

Michigan State Police are investigating a shooting reported Tuesday night on Interstate 94 in Romulus that left two people injured. At 11:20 p.m., the Detroit Regional Communication Center received a 911 call from a person who said they were traveling east on I-94, near Wayne Road, and that both in their car had been shot, according to MSP.

A Mill Hall man is recovering from gunshot wounds he suffered Tuesday night when he allegedly exchanged gunfire with state troopers in the parking lot of Lykens Market on Main Street in Beech Creek, according to court records.

A missing 91-year-old woman from Gardiner was safely located by the Rangeley Police Department, state police said. The Maine State Police had issued a silver alert for Sylvia Pratt, 91, of Gardiner, Tuesday night. Pratt, who police say “suffers from cognitive issues,” had left her home at about 3 p.m. on Tuesday.

The trooper was stationed near the intersection of Interstates 93 and 95 with of a highway work crew on Tuesday night.

The slain woman’s family has said the trooper obsessively harassed and stalked Semanchik for months after the pair broke up in September 2024.
