Another announced Luca Guadagnino film appears to be suffering from behind-the-scenes shakeups. According to multiple reports, Daniel Craig has dropped out of playing the title role in Guadagnino’s DC Comics adaptation “Sgt. Rock,” which was rumored to be one of the Italian auteur’s next projects.

Daniel Craig isn’t enlisting into the DC Universe after all. The actor has dropped out of consideration for the title role in “Sgt. Rock,” the DC Comics adaptation from Craig’s “Queer” director Luca Guadagnino and screenwriter Justin Kuritzkes.
