A procession with law enforcement officers is planned for the Friday funeral of a Pennsylvania police officer who was shot and killed while coming to the rescue of medical personnel and patients during an attack on a hospital intensive care unit last weekend.

Hundreds of fellow officers, as well as friends and family, showed up to remember West York police officer Andrew Duarte after he was shot while responding to an incident at a hospital.

Ahead of the funeral Friday for West York Police Officer Andrew Duarte, emergency vehicles in a procession carried his casket from the funeral home to the church where his services will be held Friday afternoon.
