Amid the ongoing legal battle with Nayanthara, Dhanush and Aishwarya Rajinikanth got officially divorced and are no longer husband and wife.

The dispute began when Nayanthara accused Dhanush of pressuring her and blocking her from using footage from their film Naanum Rowdy Dhaan in her documentary.

Nayanthara and Dhanush's legal battle is the talk of the town. On November 27, the actor filed a legal suit in the Madras High Court against the actress for violating copyright laws. Now, Nayanthara's lawyer has responded to Dhanush's claim that she used a three-second clip from Naanum Rowdy Dhaan in Nayanthara: Beyond The Fairytale without an NOC.

Dhanush filed a civil lawsuit against Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan, over the alleged use of footage from his 2015 film Naanum Rowdy Dhaan in Nayanthara's Netflix documentary.
