Monday's severe weather moving through Minnesota is creating dangerous conditions. According to the National Weather Service, a tornado was observed near Fairmont, Minnesota on Monday afternoon. The federal agency says it also received "multiple tornado reports" near Winnebago in Faribault County.

“The National Weather Service predicts the risk of severe storms in Minneapolis to be unusually high – a level 4 of 5 – with tornadoes, large hail, damaging winds, and frequent lightning likely,” Minneapolis officials said, according to multiple outlets.
