Iskcon Bangladesh' general secretary Charu Chandra Das Brahmachari said monk Chinmoy was removed from all positions within the organisation long ago due to a breach of organisational discipline.

The High Court on Thursday declined to impose a ban on the activities of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) in Bangladesh, as reported by a local newspaper. This decision comes shortly after a lawyer was killed in a clash between security personnel and supporters of a Hindu leader arrested on sedition charges.

The Bangladesh High Court refused to ban ISKCON despite violent protests following the arrest of a Hindu monk, emphasizing the government’s role in maintaining law and order.
