Happy Thanksgiving! We have a cooler and breezy day ahead as a cold front moves in overnight. Highs will be in the 60s with partly cloudy skies. Overnight lows will dip into the 40s in Houston and 30s north.

The procession starts at 9 a.m. and takes place in downtown Houston. This year, organizers expect 250,000 people to line the streets. The parade is planned to go through 20 blocks and feature 19 floats, eight performances, six marching bands and 21 high-flying balloons according to Susan Christian, Director of the Mayor’s Office Special Events.

Nine-time Olympic gold medalist Carl Lewis will serve as this year’s grand marshal and will be joined by other Houston-based Olympians.

It's time for Houston's 75th annual Thanksgiving Day parade to make its way through Downtown! The parade will begin at 9 a.m. with an expected end time of 11 a.m. FOX 26 will livestream the event on our website.
