Delta Air Lines said 25 passengers were taken to local hospitals for evaluation and care after the flight was diverted to MSP.

A Delta flight had to be diverted to Minneapolis/St. Paul Airport after it encountered “significant turbulence,” leaving some passengers injured. Delta says that flight DL56, which was flying from Salt Lake City to Amsterdam, safely landed at MSP around 7:45 p.m. and medical personnel met the flight upon arrival to evaluate passengers and crew.
