Change comes overnight with a cold front moving in and bringing snow showers to the higher elevations. Cold temperatures also return on Sunday
Storms will accompany the line. While the Storm Prediction Center has outlined our area with a low-end severe threat, our main hazard will be strong winds as the front passes. Strong winds from the south will turn more northwesterly and gust to 45-50 mph.
One last blast of the traditional winter season will sweep into Texas on Sunday after temperatures climb to their warmest levels of the year.

Dry Tonight, with a Powerful Cold Front Coming
Tonight will have variably cloudy skies early, with clouds increasing overnight. It will be a dry night, with temperatures dropping to around 40 degrees in D.C. Sunday will be mostly cloudy, dry in the morning and much of the afternoon,
