A Country Cruise-In Car Show and Demolition Derby is coming to the Henry County Fairgrounds on August 30. The car show will run from 10a.m. to 4p.m. and the Demolition Derby will start at 6p.m. The events will be benefitting 20 year old Kenny Grimes from New Windsor.
A Cambridge woman was fatally hit by a car that jumped a curb in Lewiston, Maine, and drove into a park, police said. Elizabeth Camacho, 74, was walking in Kennedy Park, directly across from City Hall, on Friday around 1 p.m. when the car struck her. She was flown to a nearby hospital, where she was pronounced dead, police said.
