Minnesota experienced below zero temperatures and wind chills on Tuesday morning. A cold weather advisory was in effect for much of northern and western Minnesota through the late morning, with windchills between 25 and 35 degrees below zero, and actual temperatures from minus 15 to 25 degrees.

Meteorologist Sven Sundgaard has a look at the frigid temps sticking around this week while two more chances for snow arrive later this week.

A large winter system is sweeping through the central United States, and light snow showers look to sweep through the area today. The snow looks to arrive for the morning and mid afternoon, tapering off in the evening.
