The Red Sox announced a slew of player development personnel moves on Thursday, headlined by new titles for Worcester, Mass. natives Brian Abraham and Rich Gedman. Abraham has been promoted from director of player development to senior director of player development.

The Red Sox will host the St. Louis Cardinals on April 6 at 7 p.m. in their first Sunday home game of the 2025 season. It’s the second game in ESPN’s slate of Sunday Night Baseball, with the Atlanta Braves taking on the San Diego Padres on March 30 on opening weekend.

ESPN, in conjunction with Major League Baseball, announced its 2025 early-season Sunday Night Baseball schedule on Wednesday. The 36th season of ESPN’s exclusive Major League Baseball game of the week begins on March 30 when the San Diego Padres and Fernando Tatís Jr.

He led all Red Sox minor leaguers with 55 extra-base hits (20 homers, 32 doubles and three triples). He batted .330 with a .439 on-base percentage, .558 slugging percentage and .997 OPS in 115 games (517 plate appearances). He posted a .286/.412/.486/.898 line in 19 games at Worcester to finish off the season.

Campbell and Anthony are two of the team's top prospects and both are in position to contribute significantly to the team in 2025.
