Pelicans, Javonte Green agree to contract buyout; Versatile role player expected to sign with Cavs
The Pelicans acquired a versatile player like Green right before the trade deadline when they received Bruce Brown as part of the Brandon Ingram deal. Brown will fill Green’s role. Brandon Boston also will get more minutes.

The New Orleans Pelicans announced today that the team has waived guard/forward Javonte Green. Green, 6-4, 220, originally signed with New Orleans on August 22, 2024.
