The ticket matched all five white ball numbers along with the ticket's 3X multiplier to win the prize, lottery officials said.

The Mega Million jackpot is now up to $680 million after no winners were selected in Tuesday night's drawing. The next drawing is Friday night at 11 p.m.

This marks the 33rd consecutive drawing without a jackpot winner since the last big win of $348 million in Virginia on June 27. The growing prize now ranks as the 10th largest in Mega Millions history since the game launched in 2002.

A Mega Millions ticket worth $100,000 was sold in New Jersey for Tuesday’s lottery drawing. The winner purchased the lucky third-prize Mega Millions ticket at Big J 99, a convenience store on Bergenline Avenue in Union City, Hudson County, according to the New Jersey Lottery.
