HBO Max is raising its prices, Warner Bros. Discovery announced on Oct. 21, with the highest-tiered plan costing $2 more per month. According to Warner Bros. Discovery, the Basic With Ads plan increased by $1 per month to $10.
The streamer’s latest price hike raises ad-free plans by up to $2 a month, following similar increases from Disney+ and Hulu earlier this year.
Yet another streaming price hike has arrived, with Warner Bros. Discovery announcing that all three HBO Max plans are going to be more expensive.

Streaming service HBO Max is losing its live news channel as CNN Max live will soon leave the platform. In an email sent to subscribers this month, HBO Max confirmed the 24/7 news channel will be leaving its platform as of Nov. 17, 2025.
