The 2025 MLB playoffs begin Tuesday and will kick off in style. Eight total teams will take the field to get things started on the right foot. One of those teams is the defending-champion Los Angeles Dodgers, which is looking for its second-straight championship after winning it all last season.

It will also roll out new mobile app features such as closed captions, Find My Remote, sleep timer, daily trivia and more

The Roku Sports zone now includes Live Scores and Reminders. Live scores will now appear on game tiles, so viewers can check scores and results from multiple games all in one place. Users can also set reminders for upcoming matchups right on the TV screen. Roku will also send a mobile notification to users when it’s time to tune in.

A few batters later, Bo Naylor smacked a three-run homer to put the game out of reach. Guardians closer Cade Smith, who came in for the final out of the eighth inning, kept the Tigers off the board in the ninth to secure the victory.
